Hi NE SUPers,

I did a great paddle last wednesday from the main beach at South Shields to the mouth of the river wear at roker.

The tide was high so i could negotiate my way though the various rocky outcrops and though the arches. If you have never been this far down the coast its really worth a trip. The cost is outstanding down here.

Anyone fancy a similar trip in the coming days or weeks let me know... Its easy to organise vans at either end, free parking and great chips at Roker.

I was on my trusty Starboard PIN 12'6 cutting through the water at speed and could pickup some nice swell on the route even though it looked much like a lake when I set off......
